Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the resort was a mixed bag. While the heated pool and hot tubs were enjoyable, the small rooms and poor soundproofing made for a less than ideal experience. The internet was virtually unusable, which was extremely frustrating. Overall, the amenities were nice, but the value for money fell short in several areas.
I had high hopes for this hotel based on its past reputation, but my experience was disappointing. While the location is decent, the overall quality has declined significantly. The room was simply inadequate, and the service didn't help much either. Plus, the dining options left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this place given the price.
The hotel has a nice, warm feel to it, with clean and tidy units. The shower was a major plus for me, and the beds were comfortable with quality pillows. However, the reception area could definitely use some sprucing up, and I did encounter some issues with noise from adjoining rooms and flies during my stay. Overall, it had its highs and lows, but I felt satisfied overall.
I arrived at this hotel after a long drive, and while it had a nice appearance, it lacked substance. The restaurant was just okay, with some standard meals and decent service. The rooms were small but comfortable for sleeping, though the bathroom setup was frustrating. Overall, it was a decent stay, but our experience was marred by several issues, and we won't be returning.
Our stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely outdoor patio perfect for enjoying the spring sun. However, the location was a bit inconvenient, requiring a car to reach the central area of Wanaka, and the Wi-Fi left much to be desired. While the lap pool wasn't heated, we did appreciate the hot tubs and the other amenities available.
